Since founding his California studio in 1973, sculptor John Perry creates subtle, yet dramatic and affordable sculptures. Perry developed Pellucida, a versatile compound of resins that can be presented in a multitude of colors and textures. The variety of bases for Perry's sculptures range from natural burlwood (please note that exact size and dimensions vary slightly due to the unique variations in the burlwood bases), glossy black ebonite or even blue airbrushed Pellucida ocean waves. Perry keeps costs down making his unique art affordable to all. Many of his designs are available in small, medium and large sizes. John Perry also passes his social consciousness on to each purchaser by directing a significant portion of the revenues of his studio towards the conservation of wildlife.
